Writing down our goals is one of the fastest and most effective ways to realize our desires. I think of it as the “power of the pen”. Using the principles of the Law of Attraction, writing down your goals and intentions helps you to keep them in focus.
You can either write a specific goal or create an entire list of things you want. Your goals can be things you want to accomplish within the next year, month, week or even today. Continue to update your list crossing off a specific goal once it has been realized or adding new goals.
Really think about what your goal is and get specific. Perhaps a new, better paying job making (x) amount of money, a larger home on the water, lose 20 pounds in 6 months or build a stronger, closer relationship with a specific person. Write it down and then place it somewhere you will see it often. I keep a little card in my purse with my next goal on it. I refer to it now as a “goal card”. Whenever I reach into the pocket of my purse I take it out and read it. Then I feel gratitude that this goal is already accomplished. It’s a great way to keep reminding me of my goal and to focus my thoughts and intentions on it.
Make sure to write this goal down in the present tense: “I’m so happy and grateful now that (your goal)”.
The more often you see your goal written out and read it and feel the emotions of having that goal now the more you will internalize it.
How It Works
When a thought is internalized or impressed into the subconscious mind often enough, we will actually start to believe it. That’s when you will see your goal manifest into reality, when you actually believe it.
And it doesn’t matter if you can’t see how your goal will actually manifest. That’s not your responsibility. You just have to focus on that goal and believe that it will happen. Then everything you need for that goal to be realized will start to appear in your life.
“If you can see it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand”
~ Bob Proctor
I want to share with you my testimony of how I used “the power of the pen”. How by writing down a specific goal, looking at it every day and keeping that goal in the forefront of my mind the Law of Attraction brought it into existence.
Below is the actual goal card that I kept in my purse so it’s a little tattered:
This goal card was written on October 6, 2019. The date at the bottom was the date I picked to have it manifested by. On December 27, 2019 we closed on our first vacation rental home.
Do Not Focus On The “How”
At the time this goal card was written, we did not have the resources for it and did not know how to get them. But through continued focus on the goal and absolute faith it would happen, a way was presented. That is how the Law of Attraction works.
This information isn’t meant to boast. It is my hopes that you look to it for motivation and know that if I can do this….you can too!
